Jim Cogan

Deadline’s head of script and story development also directs a mean scene himself. Jim scripted and produced short films for various corporate clients prior to co-founding Deadline Communications with Simon and Peter.

With extensive copywriting experience and an additional background in Brand Strategy and Innovation, Jim has worked on projects across a range of industries (including FMCG, Financial Services, Dairy, Metals & Mining) in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. He’s also managed large-scale internal communications for blue chip companies. Jim’s favourite movies are Leone’s Once Upon A Time In The West, Lindsay Anderson’s If... and the seminal Lifting Large Objects Safely (Hiram N. Firam Logistics Ltd 1999). He is a Modern Languages Graduate.
